Now, the story about Pundirs finally becoming as MAKHLOGA’s.
At NAKOT, was once organized a massive YAGNA in the past. ‘MAKH’ is a vedic word and in Ramayana also this ‘MAKH’ has been amply used. The ‘MAKH’ word gives the meaning of holy fire (YAGNA). This is how the king of Maharaja Vatsraj Dev was known as MAKHLOGA. Some even call him son of King Vennu, or his descendents, needless to say who worshiped the holy fire(maha Makh) i.e. the descendents of King Vatsraj dev this is land where mahamakh performed like Mayapur where such acts were performed during the time king “Badshah” (Maha yogna).
As the King getting old, he had it the hard way to forget all about his Mayapur. He then decided to establish his goddess at a place known as ‘Suri’, purifying her idol with chanting of intonation and holy names, sprinkling the holy waters( malur in the local dialect, meaning thereby the removal of inside dirt/dust/impurities) nearer to the village NAKOT, lord Ganesha’s idol was established and opposite was that of naga raja(the serpent god). Also, established was the temple of Bharatji, nearer the village at bharatmalli; of all these temples the Suri temple had survived furies of nature and rest became past history that is mingled with mother nature.
Past history bears testimony to the events describe about and same cannot be treated as trash or mere gossips of the past everything is relevant even today when talking of the past about pundriks or pundirs origination (ascendants or descendents).
Empire of Timur which includes Pundir's(Makhloga's) region too
